PRODUCTION NOTES

BEFORE I FOUND MY WAY was recorded at OCEAN WAY NASHVILLE RECORDING STUDIOS in April and June of 2018. I wrote the song based on a chord progression I had been sitting on for several years. The lyric focuses on asking for forgiveness from an old friend, and reflecting on my own personal growth and development. I wanted this song to have to have plenty of energy and VICTOR INDRIZZO on Drums and TONY LUCIDO on Bass set the scene in that respect with Tony paying homage to The Who’s John Entwistle with his figure in intro and turnaround sections. JERRY MCPHERSON and KRIS DONEGAN play off one another really well on Electric Guitars with Donegan delivering the blistering solo at the end of the second chorus. In the choruses you can hear a “clapping” sound of Victor playing a yellow notepad at the behest of Producer TIM LAUER which adds a nice percussive element to the track. PERRY COLEMAN added vocal harmonies.
