PRODUCTION NOTES

LOVE IS THE ONLY ROAD was recorded at OCEAN WAY NASHVILLE RECORDING STUDIOS in April and June of 2018. I wrote the songs with KENT AGEE and the title says it all. I believe the message is timeless and a necessary reminder to put out in the world, over and over. I had previously recorded this song on my BLACKBIRD STUDIO D SESSIONS with a very different production approach but on this session we went with a bit of a laid back 70’s vibe. The band settled right in and the background harmonies of Nashville legend, PERRY COLEMAN, ERIN MCCARLEY, and JASON ESKRIDGE fill it out nicely. ROSS COLLIER added a little Omnichord to boot.
